Simulation research on correlation between cold source configuration and load characteristics of central air conditioning systems

The study finds that the operating energy consumption of different cold source schemes will be different under the same cooling demand, and the main influencing factor is the annual air conditioning load distribution characteristics of the building. Taking the central air conditioning system of a public building in Xiamen as an example, this paper compares and analyses four different chiller units and single cooling capacity configuration plans, and proposes a calculation method for the primary selection of cold source optimal configuration based on cooling load data analysis. At the same time, the law between different load characteristics and cold source configuration is studied, so as to analyse and summarize the general law and design method of cold source configuration of the central air conditioning system.
